Restaurants
Tonhalle
Kaiserswerth - Tonhalle is a guarantee for authentic, traditional German food. Fresh, seasonal ingredients, homemade sauces and cake specialties from its own pastry chef make sure of this. Up to 300 guests can be accommodated in the restaurant, the beer garden and in the Schwemme (bar). more
Steege am Deutschen Eck
Meerbusch - Steege is a bistro-restaurant and a popular place to meet in Meerbusch-Büderich. It does not always have to be Düsseldorf! Traditional as well as Mediterranean dishes are offered in a cosy and rustic ambience. No matter whether with a glass of wine or beer, here you can spend a very pleasant evening in a relaxed atmosphere. more
El Pescador
Flingern - There is a completely uncomplicated atmosphere in the lively El Pescador restaurant. The all-out focus is on the complete enjoyment of fish: The guests find daily changing fish specialties on the blackboards in the restaurant and at the huge fish counter. From A as in American sole to Z as in Zander, here you can choose "your fish" and how you want it prepared from 150 different kinds of fish. A diverse selection of white and red wines completes the offer and can naturally be taken home as well. The chef, Gero Legner, is the most prominent TV chef in Düsseldorf. more
Moskito
Derendorf - Moskito at Brehmplatz always had a good reputation - but after the new opening of Moskito in May 2011, it has become the meeting point for aficionados of German cuisine. Moskito perfectly combines tradition and modernity. For a long time, German cuisine was considered to be old-fashioned and "dusty". Moskito refutes this prejudice in a most tasteful way. Regional dishes are newly interpreted here and there are exceptional creations of German traditional food to be enjoyed. The cuisine follows the seasons and what nature has on offer: Asparagus in spring, mushrooms in summer, roast goose in winter - each German region is reflected in the many different dishes.
The bright and beautiful rooms as well as the garden terrace provide the appropriate setting for culinary pleasures. No matter whether a relaxed breakfast, lunch or a romantic dinner in the evening - Moskito is always worth a visit. Wine from German wine-growing areas and selected organic wines round off the culinary experience. But what would a restaurant in Düsseldorf be without "Alt" beer? Here "Alt" from the Schumacher brewery is served. And for those who like a good glass of pilsner, there is "König Pilsner" on tap. more
Hyuga
Stadtmitte - Hyuga awaits its guests with puristic Japanese cuisine in pure culture, only a stone's throw away from the Schadowarkade shopping mall. This attracts especially the Japanese living in Düsseldorf - and naturally the guests who would like to experience new culinary treats. more
