New GIFA and METEC Indonesia from 2023: Messe Düsseldorf focuses on powerful growth market

With the new events GIFA and METEC Indonesia, new platforms are being created for the emerging Indonesian metallurgy and foundry industry. Messe Düsseldorf is accompanying Indonesia's strong economic growth, opening up an attractive market for international companies and strengthening the world's leading trade fairs GIFA, METEC, THERMPROCESS and NEWCAST, which will be held as "The Bright World of Metals" at the Düsseldorf home base.

GIFA and METEC Indonesia will be held in Jakarta for the first time from 13 to 16 September 2023. They offer Indonesia's metallurgy and foundry industry, which is undergoing a sustained upswing, a new, professional marketplace and create access for international industry players to an attractive future market.

With its almost 300 million inhabitants, Indonesia is not only the most populous country in the economic alliance - with all its infrastructural needs - but also offers an optimal economic environment for the metallurgy and foundry industry. Alongside agriculture, mining and the further processing of mineral resources represent a fundamental and constantly growing economic sector that is strongly supported and promoted by the government with the aim of building up high-value-added industries.
