High-definition flatness correction for the rolling industry

Primetals is launching a new high-resolution flatness correction for the rolling industry. The technology is compatible with aluminium, brass and copper flat rolling mills as well as steel hot rolling mills. The plant manufacturer promises exceptional product flatness at lower investment costs.

Indian RN Gupta installs counterblow hammer for large forgings

RN Gupta, a family-run company from India, ordered a new type DG 63h Bêché counterblow hammer from Schuler. The supplier with its 1,500 employees will use the hammer to produce flanges, pipe fittings, and valves for the oil and gas industry, as well as parts for the automotive and railroad industries.
