Stainless steel company WSSL digitises raw material procurement

Welspun Specialty Solutions Limited (WSSL), a manufacturer of alloy & stainless-steel products, has entered into a partnership with Metalshub, a leading procurement software for metals & mining industry.

The collaboration seeks to digitalise WSSL’s entire source-to-contract process for raw materials, with a primary focus on procuring scrap, metals, ferroalloys, and fluxes for its stainless and alloy steel production in Bharuch, Gujarat, India. By using Metalshub’s cloud-based Procurement Solution, WSSL will streamline its sourcing processes, enhance transparency and create a single source of truth for its direct procurement spend. Moreover, the company aims to diversify and expand its supplier base by launching public enquiries into Metalshub’s vast network of more than 2,000 active suppliers.
