IJmuiden wind farm to supply electricity for green hydrogen

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Vattenfall awarded contract for IJmuiden Ver Beta offshore wind farm.

Zeevonk, a joint venture of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) through its Energy Transition Fund and Vattenfall, has received a permit for the construction of the IJmuiden Ver Beta wind farm in the Netherlands. This 2 GW offshore wind project will include a 50 MW floating offshore solar farm on site and a new electrolyser in the port of Rotterdam to produce green hydrogen using electricity from the wind farm.
