NDCs metals X-ray gauging systems feature on-line, non-contacting measurement with robust, heavy-duty C–frames to measure the thickness and coating weight of flat plate, strip and sheet products for the steel, aluminum and non-ferrous processes. Both thickness and coating weight are measured with mono-energetic x-ray sensors using NDCs AccuRayTM family of gauges.
NDCs infrared technologies provide expanded measurement capabilities for aqueous, organic, wax and oil coatings for the finishing processes. In addition, moisture can be measured throughout the sinter process.
