Radial bearings

This bearing design features a very high axial force transmission and rigidity. Wherever high loads need to be transferred and great stability is required, these types of bearings are used. These bearings consist of an inner ring, one or more roller element sets (full complement or with cage) and an outer ring. In most cases, the roller elements are guided in a bearing ring on banks. Another feature of these bearings is that they are demountable, i.e. the inner ring and outer ring / rolling element set can be mounted separately, this can simplify the installation of the bearings and make them safer. The different bearing types are avaliable as floating or as well as a fixed bearing, another variant is the supporting bearing, these can take one-sided thrust forces.

Thrust bearings

For axial load only, “real” thrust bearings are usually used. These bearings are composed of a shaft locating washer, a cage with the roller elements and a housing locating washer. This configuration is called a unidirectional thrust bearing. If axial forces have to be absorbed from two sides, the configuration of the bearing changes as follows: two shaft locating washers, two cages with rolling elements and one housing locating washer; This storage variant is also called bidirectional thrust bearing.

SACRB

The SACRB bearing as floating or fixed bearing combines properties such as high load ratio, angular adjustment and easy axial shifting. The name of this bearing type describes the function, it is an adjustable roller bearing. This bearing type consists of an inner ring, a set of rollers, usually full complement or with a cage, a spherical outer ring and the adjusting ring, the calotte. The spherical outer ring sits in the calotte and can compensate for misalignment of the bearing seats. The setting of the angle thereby does not occur in the contact of the roller bearing. The load capacity of the roller bearing remains fully intact in every position. The floating bearing variant has a smooth / straight inner ring, the rolling elements can easily move axially on it. By the above-described principle of the angle adjustment, even in the tilted state a force-free axial displacement, e.g. by thermal expansion, is possible. The fixed bearing has either a fixed board on the inner ring and a lateral thrust ring, or a smooth / inner ring without rib and two lateral pressure rings with which the axial forces can be passed.

This SACRB bearings are an alternative to spherical roller bearings or toroidal bearing, in most cases they can be exchanged one-on-one.

About us

Company details

Quality that binds, cares for motion.

Starting with the nature of the problem and the description of the application, Eich develops and produces anti-friction roller bearings with a very high-degree of customisation. This continues through into production where batch sizes starting at just one piece demand a high degree of flexibility.

Depending on the customer requirements and/or requirements of the application, the bearings can be manufactured from high-tensile, high-temperature or rust-free roller bearing steels. Normal roller bearing steels are used as standard material.

The range of roller bearings manufactured begins at an inside diameter of 30 mm and ends at 1000 mm. There is an enormous depth in the production process: From the product development stage right up to the final acceptance, everything is carried out under a single roof. CAD, work piece preparation on modern CNC machines, soft/hard machining and heat treatment are seamlessly integrated into one another at Eich and are subject to constant quality checks.

That is the basis for short delivery times, optimum production quality and value added pricing.
