FB2000 - FB3000
Melting gas furnace, capacity 2.000 kg do melt Al alloys. It combines the advantages of traditional architecture to build the basin furnace, with the most advanced technology and systems management and control of onboard systems. The furnace provides a simplified melting process compared to other architectures construction, which can be summed up in simplicity and ease of handling, even by not particularly skilled workers. The advance management of the combustion plant is based on automatic and continuous adjustment of the temperature of the liquid aluminium integrate with the submerged thermocouple in the liquid bath, that ensures high yield, during he melting ad the holding phases, maintaining stable around on the set temperature point of the melt Al alloys.

FF750
It is a furnace with a dry sole used to melt aluminium and its alloys. Inside it is divided in two chambers: one to melt and the other to keep and hold molten metal at tapping temperature. In the melting chamber, necessary heat is given by two methane burners placed on the vault, that produce two short tapered flames, that are the best compromise between melting efficiency and metallurgic fineness. In the holding chamber, necessary heat is given by a methane burner placed on the vault, that produces a flat flame, that touches the roof and the walls. By thermal radiation, heat reaches molten bath, keeping it at the right temperature.
The ingots charging in the melting chamber is effected by an opening made in melting chamber,
equipped with door with a mechanic-hydraulic movement and pneumatic closing; separately a charging unit, suitably studied, is furnishable, that puts the ingots on the sole of melting chamber. The picking of molten metal from holding chamber is made from the right tapping spout by furnace balancing. The tapping spout is separated from heating chamber by a siphon, that allows to stop drosses in the heating zone, keeping clean the metal, that is spilled in the ladle. It is also present another manual door in the holding chamber for refractory cleaning.

Co.Ram s.r.l. was founded as a manufacturer of equipment for the aluminium foundry, specializing in one area, "gravity", where the metallurgical quality, always characterizing feature of this technique for the production of jets, must be maintained at very high levels even though, for market needs, there is a continuous search of economies on the process. This is why Co.Ram has developped a range of machines, including holding furnaces, melting furnaces, degassing plants, and many others that after decades of experience made on the field can boast of having achieved the goal, which is to ensure all those who are the metallurgical aspects at the lowest cost of ownership, management and maintenance. Some years ago we approached almost casually the world of die casting, tranferring our experience in an area where the care of metallurgy has become a reality to be taken into account, because customer requirements were gradually modifiyng, looking for not only the price and the number but also for mechanical strenght, percentage elongation, grain refining, modification of eutectic, absence of inclusions (hard points of various nature) etc, etc... Our recent major satisfactions have just come by providing renowned foundries of die casting, with metallurgical treatments plants (degassing-deoxidation, refining) and holding furnaces, allowing to reduce the costs of production with significant improvements in quality.
