Refractory granulate for EAF
Deref has been producing mineral granulate for steel industry for more than 20 years.
- Under the brand of Magslag products, Deref proposes a range of basic granulate for furnace batch.
With magnesite high content and silica low content, the Magslag granulate material brand allow to obtain a balanced slag as well as a better foaming slag, thus protecting the furnace refractory lining.
- Thanks to the product Der Banco Scorifica, Deref offers a technical cost-effective alternative to the use of dolomite for protection of the slag door.

Covering powders for ladles and tundishes
Deref produces a wide range of atomized covering powder (spray dry) for ladles and tundishes.
As main characteristics, both acid and basic products under Ecosiv brand show uniformity and consistency of their atomized balls, which present high mechanical resistance and ensure homogeneity of covering powders as well as dust reduction upon their application. From the point of view of thermal efficiency, their high-performance insulating power offers significant advantages in the ladle and/or tundish system such as to ensure minimum heat losses.
Furthermore, the wide range of Deref products encompasses environment-friendly covering powders conceived to definitively replace crystalline-silica high-content products
