For more than 25 years, ECM Technologies has been a reference for main contractors with its patented Infracarb® process and its range of modular ICBP® installations.

To meet the most diverse applications, the ICBP® range is now available in modular furnaces, such as ICBP® Flex and ICBP® Jumbo, double chamber (ICBP®Duo) and single chamber furnaces (ICBP® Mono) and an in line integrated (ICBP® Nano). More than 262 installations corresponding to more than 1296 vacuum carburizing cells are producing in the world today.

VACUUM FURNACES APPLICATIONS
ECM Technologies has been manufacturing vacuum furnaces since 1964.

Today, more than 1,500 vacuum furnaces are installed throughout the world, for an extended range of applications: low pressure carburizing, annealing (ageing, magnetic…) vacuum brazing, gas quenching, oil quenching, sintering, post additive manufacturing…
To obtain a perfect control of the thermal performance of its furnaces, ECM manufactures its own molybdenum resistors. This allows its furnace to have excellent repeatability of processes, a mastery of temperatures and the best treatment quality.
All furnaces manufactured by ECM Technologies respond to strict quality standards. Moreover, additional certifications such as the AMS2750 for aeronautics, CQI9 for automotive are available, and a high level of automation can be reached thanks to ECM Technologies’ in-house robotics department.

Induction furnaces and melting

ECM is a historic actor in the induction sector. In the early 90s, ECM and CFEI (previously Saphymo Cell) – both members of the Dynathermic group – proposed heat treatment installations, under vacuum and under controlled atmosphere. During these years, ECM Technologies also proposed revolutionary low pressure carburizing solutions for induction heating: the TORR machine.

ECM’s mastery of high temperatures, vacuum, and controlled atmospheres has allowed ECM TECHNOLOGIES to propose turnkey induction solutions for various applications. Induction furnaces offer the possibility to carry out complex processes at high temperatures (up tp 3000°C), with a rapid rise in temperature (30°C/s).
