PFO SERIES - COLD CHAMBER

The production of Colosio cold chamber machines - for the die-casting of aluminum, brass and magnesium alloys - ranges from 140 to 3200 tons of closing force. Fully digital, they are equipped with memory of the molds (Coltrol System). The control of the data and their recording and saving on PC, allow to repeat the parameters of pressure, speed and stroke optimal for each single mold, allowing to visualize the injection curves relative to each casted part (Fullcoltrol).

Son of the already tested V2 System, the dual-circuit injection system, with floating piston accumulators, operates at the highest speeds and is therefore suitable for all die-casting requirements. The system allows to choose between a first phase at constant speed "under pump" or progressive "under accumulator". Moreover, the multiplier control takes place through an independent circuit - powered by its own pre-loadable accumulator - which guarantees to carry out this phase with all the required force.

PFZ SERIES - HOT CHAMBER

The production of Colosio hot chamber machines - for the die-casting of zamak and magnesium alloys - ranges from small 30 ton machines to large 320 ton closing force machines. Fully digital, they are equipped with memory of the molds (Coltrol System). The control of the data and their recording and saving on PC, allow to repeat the parameters of pressure, speed and stroke optimal for each single mold, allowing to visualize the injection curves relative to each casted part (Fullcoltrol).

The closing group is inclined by 5 ° to facilitate, after the injection, the reflux of the liquid metal towards the metal bath. The separation of the nozzle from the mold takes place before opening, in order to guarantee the breaking of the final part of the casting slug in the most suitable position. The two-stage injection system consists of a first phase "under pump" and a second fast phase "under accumulator".
